About Us
The Preschool on the Green, established in 1953, is a secular, self-supporting non-profit organization sponsored by the Middlebury Congregational Church. It is licensed by the State of Connecticut and complies with all of the standards and guidelines set forth by the State. Its operation is governed by a Preschool Committee and the school is managed and taught by a Director, Head Teacher and classroom teachers.
We provide a traditional preschool program for ages three to five years old. The preschool program we offer is part-time, half days and a school year calendar schedule. The four-year-old program is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an extended day option. The three-year-old classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday.
